Arlo Midtown
The Arlo Midtown is a 489-key hotel in Manhattan's Garment District. With a soaring interior atrium, public and private terraces throughout the building, and expansive views of the Hudson River, this project seeks to provide a light and open atmosphere with its design.
The materiality and detailing of the façade respects the immediate context while utilizing special brick details to give the building a modern presence.
A monumental interior atrium spans from the ground to the 8th floor, with skylights that allow natural light to filter to the cellar amenity space.
Building setbacks are utilized for lush green spaces where guests and public may enjoy expansive views of the Manhattan skyline.
Vibrant and inviting amenity areas are located at the cellar and ground levels.
Thoughtfully designed micro-rooms offer comfort and an abundance of light from south facing windows.
Food and beverage amenities are located on the ground floor, featuring expansive windows to allow natural light and fresh air in during warmer months.
Entrances feature lit marquees to create street presence and an inviting experience, day or night.
Each terrace offers a unique perspective and view of the city, from just above the streetscape to twenty stories up.
The Arlo Midtown has many moments which allow guests to experience the city, from street level windows to panoramic rooftop views.
