Bedford Union Armory

The Bedford Union Armory is a mixed-use development located in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Formerly known as the Troop C Armory, the structure was designed in 1903 by Pilcher and Tachau. The project will add units of housing to the site while transforming the existing armory into a community hub. The Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Center will preserve approximately 84 percent of the historic armory building, while providing a significant amount of new community facility space and providing new housing units, more than half of which will be affordable.
