Targeted interventions
Blackened steel structures added by DOT to store piping, were preserved and adapted as an armature for efficient and safe up lighting, heavy timber benches, and event installations, preventing new holes being drilled into the historic granite walls. The historic cobble roadway was discovered beneath modern asphalt, and restored.
