The Masters IEC will extend and formalize the quad: aligning with existing façades, and enhance Estherwood Mansion as a focal point of the campus.
Drawing design cues from historic and contemporary barns, as well as the Masters' art facility, the IEC incorporates flexibility, ample natural light, and opportunities for connection, ensuring a vibrant and effective educational environment.
The centrally focused program is highlighted by a triple-height space which can be experienced from all approaches.
The building program concept is based on the Harkness teaching and learning methodology; which facilitates an open-minded environment for discussion and engagement.
As a center focused on innovation, specialized facilities for robotics, engineering, and entrepreneurship are highlighted in the design.
The landscape and exterior design utilizes the topology and environment to provide seamless connection to the existing campus, in addition to creating new, informal gathering spaces.
